An Awesome Mouse
"The WarMouse Meta isn't just an awesome mouse for gamers, but for game designers too. Being able to data mine game actions through the Meta takes gaming mouse technology to a whole new level."
- Chris Taylor, Lead Designer, Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander

Multi-button & Multi-function
"Equally at home fine-tuning pictures in Photoshop or fighting the slavering zombie hordes. Because I do both. Although usually not at the same time."
- John Scalzi, award-winning science fiction author, SFWA President, and undead slayer extraordinaire

The Most Advanced Mouse We've Ever Seen
"Does the WarMouse Meta need any further introduction? We didn't think so, and ever since we laid eyes on this thing we've been dying to know how you'd even go about using the programmable point-and-clicker. There's no doubt that the $79.99 Meta with its 512K of memory is the most advanced mouse we've ever seen - each of its 18 buttons along with their double-click functions can be configured for different applications, and its analog joystick can be customized to perform eight different commands.... The WarMouse Meta goes where no mouse has gone before."
- Joanna Stern, Engadget, May 5, 2010

The King of All Computer Mice
"We have seen a lot of computer mouse, some are wired, others wireless, some are more conventional and other tend to be a bit towards the stylish side. However, if there is one mouse that beats them all, then it sure is the WarMouse Meta.
- Rajeev Saxena, Trends Updates, May 4, 2010

"Don't believe us. Check out this comparison chart showing how it kicks each major player's arse."
- Damien Roy, HyperGear, May 5, 2010

A Gamer's Wet Dream
Mouse technology has reached a peak with the Warmouse Meta.... Time will tell if the world is ready for an 18 button mouse. One thing is for sure though, the next time I head out to do online battle, I wont go without the Warmouse Meta.
- Michael Hines, Trendhunter, January 13, 2010

OpenOfficeMouse Is An 18 Button Freak, But I Want It
18 programmable buttons. E-I-G-H-T-E-E-N! Forget the 512k of flash memory, analog Xbox 360-style joystick, basic scroll wheel and whatever-else-is-in-there. 18 buttons! Yes, I'm a button lover. Yes, I just had an orgasm. And yes, I will waste $75 on this.
- Rosa Golijan, Gizmodo, November 6, 2009

Is This the Most Insane Mouse Ever?
We're torn between being both entranced and horrified all at once looking at this mouse.... There's a temptation to say hell with simplicity and immerse ourselves in the complexity and options heaven of such a device.
- Gregory Han, Unplggd, November 9, 2009

OpenOfficeMouse reborn as WarMouse Meta
What we have here is a sort of Freddie Prinze Jr. movie dork makeover event, except applied to an 18-button mouse.... Anyway, that crazy-ass mouse from a few months ago has been redesigned somewhat to make it a little more awesome. I mean, who wants a white mouse? Scientists, maybe. So other than the recoloring, new laser sensor, and apparent retooling of the analog stick (the analog stick, people) it's pretty much the same.

A Strategy Game Designer's Perspective
Whether I personally will routinely use all 16 buttons is extremely debatable, but having multiple rows of mappable buttons seems quite useful; and often it is the case that once I set up one group of mappings with game pads and similar (which often have 12 or more buttons), I find myself wishing I had just a little more room. Seems like the WarMouse has plenty of room to start with a small configuration and then grow it to something larger, which I like. Of course, for shortcut-intensive applications like AI War, it's easy to fill up those buttons fast, so I may find myself using more buttons than I expect faster than I expect.
- Chris Park, Lead Designer, AI War:Fleet Command

18-Button Open Office Mouse Makes A Keyboard Look Minimal
A mouse so complicated that you need a cheat-sheet to use it. What's more, it is butt-ugly. looking like somebody cut holes in a generic dime-store mouse and inserted the plastic leftovers of pill-bottle lids.... The saving feature, if indeed this thing can be saved, is the analog control stick, very similar to the Nintendo 64 controller's mushroom stick. Unlike the nodule on the mighty mouse or the tipping, clicking scroll wheels of any other mouse, the stick is on the side, under your thumb. This strikes us a dead handy.
